Renome Arte – world-class packing and shipping standards
Renome Arte sculptures are shipped directly from our studio to customers in Serbia and abroad. We pack according to the standards of leading global online art galleries, ensuring every sculpture is protected like a museum exhibit.
How we pack sculptures
Our packing system is based on the practice of major international art platforms (wooden crates, multi-layer protection, custom inner foam inserts).
Step 1 – Protecting the sculpture itself
The sculpture is first wrapped in soft protective layers (acid-free paper, protective film, cotton or foam materials).
Each protruding part (head, hands, sharp details) is additionally wrapped with special protection.
Nothing should directly “cut” or press against the sculpture’s surface.
Step 2 – Inner packaging
The sculpture is placed inside an inner box or on a specially prepared base.
Foam or “egg-crate” sponge is added around it to keep it fully secured.
A gap filled with protective material is left between the sculpture and the box to absorb any shocks during transport.
Step 3 – Outer box / wooden crate
For larger and heavier sculptures, we make a custom wooden crate, modeled after crates used by major galleries for large works.
The edges of the crate are additionally reinforced, and the interior is lined with protective layers (foam, styrofoam, additional panels).
If necessary, the piece is packed in a “box-in-box” system – the inner box with the sculpture is placed into a larger outer box filled with cushioning material.
Step 4 – Documentation and labeling
Each package includes a certificate of authenticity and basic information about the artwork, following international gallery practice.
Packages are clearly marked with labels such as FRAGILE, THIS SIDE UP, and similar warnings to ensure careful handling.
Result: the sculpture is protected with multiple layers during transport, at a level used in international gallery standards.
Delivery within Serbia
Deliveries within Serbia are handled via trusted courier services or specialized transport, depending on the size and value of the artwork.
The average delivery time is 2–5 business days from the recorded payment (unless otherwise agreed).
If preferred, personal pickup at the studio is also available with prior notice.
The delivery price within Serbia depends on dimensions, weight, and destination, and is always stated in the offer / proforma invoice before the final order confirmation.
International shipping
Renome Arte sculptures are shipped to customers worldwide.
We use international courier services (e.g., FedEx, DHL, UPS or equivalents), with shipment tracking available.
For more valuable works, we recommend full-value shipping insurance (arranged with the customer).
Typical delivery times are 5–14 business days, depending on the country and customs procedures.
Customs and local charges (taxes, fees, import duties) depend on the destination country and are not included in the price of the sculpture or shipping; they are paid by the customer in their own country.
Transport damage – procedure
Although we pack to the highest standards, there is always minimal risk in international transport. If the shipment arrives visibly damaged or you suspect the sculpture has been harmed:
Record the damage upon receipt (preferably together with the courier).
Photograph the outer packaging, inner packaging, and the sculpture.
Contact Renome Arte within 24 hours of receiving the shipment, including photos and a description.
Based on the documentation, we initiate the process with the courier / insurance and find the best solution together (repair, replacement, or compensation depending on the situation and agreement).
